AGU Town Hall TH13C: Becoming a Climate-Ready Nation: Interagency Collaboration to Advance Greenhouse Gas Observations, Understanding, and Applications

The US Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) supports interagency groups across federal agencies that coordinate and implement global change research activities. The USGCRP Observations Interagency Working Group (ObsIWG) sponsored a seminar series in 2024, entitled Becoming a Climate Ready Nation: A Focus on Greenhouse Gases, with many sessions co-hosted by the USGCRP Carbon Cycle Interagency Working Group (CCIWG). The series highlighted today’s most pressing climate topics and challenges affected by increasing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

MSD Community Portal

The MSD community aims to improve our understanding of the coevolution of human and natural systems over time, and build the next generation of tools that bridge across sectors (energy, water, land, economy) and scales (spatial, temporal) as well as offer a holistic view of systems-of-systems.

VELMA Model

VELMA (Visualizing Ecosystem Land Management Assessments) is a tool designed to model effective decisions for a wide array of environmental issues. It is a spatially explicit ecohydrological watershed model that planners can use to visualize the effects of their decisions.
